What is the Tamer Holeshot Device?

A Tamer Holeshot Device is a mechanical device that limits the travel of the front fork of the dirt bike. It works by compressing the front fork of the dirt bike, allowing the bike to be launched aggressively from the starting line. The device is made up of high-quality materials designed to deliver maximum performance and durability. It is made with 6061 cold-pressed aluminum, the same high-strength, lightweight material used on airplanes.

How Does the Tamer Holeshot Device Work?

The device comes with a pre-set spring that compresses the front fork of the dirt bike. When the racer is ready to start the race, they press down on the front suspension to compress the Tamer Holeshot Device. The racer holds in the front brake and compresses down on the forks while the other person pushes the button on the Holeshot device to lock it in. Some talented racers can grab the front brake and lock in the Holeshot device by hitting the button with the heel of their boot, but that is hard to do and can take some practice. The device is locked in, resulting in a smoother and more controlled start than a conventional launch because the motorcycle's front end is lowered off the start, allowing for maximum traction and preventing the front end from popping up. Once the Tamer Holeshot Device is locked in, it will stay like that until the racer compresses the forks, at which point the device will unlock. This usually happens when the racer grabs the front brake going into the first turn or hits a bump.

What are the Benefits of Using a Tamer Holeshot

Device?

The Tamer Holeshot Device offers numerous benefits. Firstly, it prevents wheel spin, which helps you get better traction off the line and significantly reduces the chance of an accident. Secondly, it reduces the possibility of the front wheel popping up off the start, preventing the rider from having to pull in the clutch again. Finally, it gives racers an equal chance at starting in races as it eliminates the element of luck or guesswork associated with dirt starts.
